?The MPR121 is a capacitive touch-sensor controller driven by an I2C interface. The chip can control up to twelve independent electrodes, as well as a simulated thirteenth electrode. MPR121 also has 8 LED driver pins. When these pins are not configured as electrodes, they can be used to drive LEDs.
* There are four jumpers on the bottom of the board, all set by default (off). The address jumper connects the ADD pin to ground, which means the chips default I2C address is 0x5A. If you need to change the chip address (by shorting ADD to another pin), be sure to turn on the jumper first. The jumpers also connect the SDA, SCL and interrupt pins to 10k pull-up resistors. If you do not need pull-up resistors, you can turn on the jumpers by cutting off the traces that connect them.
* The board is not specified, so the voltage provided should be between 2.5 and 3.6VDC. The VREG pin is connected to ground with a 0.1uF capacitor, which means that you can not run the MPR121 in low supply voltage mode (1.71-2.75VDC) unless you modify the board.
