This is a force-sensitive resistor with a square 1.75x1.5 inch sensing area that will change its resistance depending on the pressure applied to the sensing area. The higher the force, the lower the resistance. Pressure is being applied to the FSR and its resistance will be greater than 1 MΩ. FSR can sense the applied force in the range of 100g-10kg.

Two pins extend from the bottom of the sensor at 0.1 inch pitch to make the breadboard more friendly. The other side of the sensing area has a peeled and sticky rubber gasket for mounting the FSR.

These sensors are easy to install and sense pressure, but they are not very accurate. Use them to check if it is squeezed, but you probably do not want to use it as a scale.
