The LP-1 handheld multi-function logic pen can measure high and low levels, which brings great convenience to debugging and detection. It is a good helper for electrical engineers.

Method: (1). Clip the red alligator clip to the positive pole of the test circuit, and the black clip is negative. Note that the voltage at both ends should not exceed 18V DC.
     (2) If testing DTL or TTL integrated circuits, push the switch on the upper part of the test pen to the TTL side; if testing the CMOS integrated circuit, push the switch to the CMOS side. Then touch the probe of the test pen to the point to be tested. The LED on the test pen will show the status of the point as follows:
             A) All are not bright---high impedance
             B) Red bright - high value (1)
             C) Green bright --- low value (0)
             D) Orange bright---pulse
    (3) If you test and store the pulse or voltage transient, first push the switch under the test pen to "PULSE" and the probe touches the point to be tested. The LED will display the original state of the point. Then select The switch is pushed to the side of "MEM". If the test pen detects a pulse or voltage transient, the orange tube will be brighter and compared with the original state, and the direction of the pulse can be known.
After use, the switch needs to be pushed to the "PULSE" side to reset.

The LP series logic pen is used to measure the logic and pulse signals of TTL level. The measurement bandwidth reaches 200MHz, and the frequency of the signal under test is indicated by 10Hz, 100Hz, 1KHz, 10KHz, 100KHz, 1MHz, 10MHz, 100MHz. The unique nine-segment frequency sound and light indicator is clear and easy to remember and very practical.

The LP series of LED indicators are available in three colors and three flash rates. Blue indicates that the measured signal frequency is in the Hz dimension band, green indicates the KHz dimension band, red indicates the MHz dimension band, and low-speed flicker (once per second) indicates that the measured signal frequency is several orders of magnitude, medium-speed flashing ( Second time per second) indicates that the frequency of the signal under test is on the order of tens of thousands, and high-speed flicker (four times per second) indicates that the frequency of the signal under test is on the order of hundreds.

The LP series of buzzers have three tones and three on-off rates. The bass indicates that the measured signal frequency is in the Hz dimension band, the midrange indicates the KHz dimension band, and the treble indicates the dimension band in the MHz; the low-speed on/off (once per second) indicates that the measured signal frequency is several orders of magnitude, the medium speed pass Break (twice per second) means that the frequency of the signal under test is on the order of tens of thousands, and high-speed on/off (four times per second) means that the frequency of the signal under test is on the order of hundreds. The LP series of buzzers have switches to meet the need for mute.

The LP Series also captures a single pulse signal with full-time monitoring that is not lost, and its LEDs and buzzer react to a single pulse.

In addition to measuring the pulse signal, the LP series logic pen also has a unique function when measuring the status signal: it can distinguish the high impedance state (floating state) of the signal under test. The red LED indicates that the signal under test is high, blue indicates low level, and green indicates that the measured point is in a high impedance state. The buzzer sounds at a high level, the buzzer emits a low level at a low level, and the buzzer is silent at a high impedance state.

In terms of mechanical engineering, the LP series of logic pens are also unique. It is equipped with a unique precision anti-shake test probe that can spot very small circuits and eliminate interference caused by hand shake. In addition, the signal and power supply of the LP series adopt the "0.64mm PIN" standard plug-in interface, which can be connected with various fixtures. For example, its signal input terminal can directly install the precision test clip, and the whole clamp clamps the pins of the SMD component to be long. Time measurement.
