product description
description:

For microcontrollers without analog-to-digital converters or when you need more accurate ADCs, the ADS1015 provides 12-bit resolution at 3300 samples / second over I2C. The chip can be configured as four single-ended input channels or two differential channels. As a nice bonus, it even includes a programmable gain amplifier up to x16 to help boost the full range of small range single / differential signals. We like this ADC because it can operate from 2V to 5V power / logic, which can measure a wide range of signals and is super easy to use. This is a great general-purpose 12-bit converter.

So it is done on the ferrite splice plate to keep the AVDD and AGND quiet. The interface is done via I2C. The address can be changed to one of four options (see datasheet Table 5) so there can be up to four ADS1015
Connects to a 2-wire I2C bus for 16 single-ended inputs.
