description:
The Motor Guard (2A) uses the L298P chip to drive two 7-12V DC motors up to 2A and can be mounted directly onto the standard Funduino Duemilanove and Funduino Mega. Speed ??control is achieved via conventional PWM and is available on Funduino PWM output pins 5 and 6. The motor control enable / disable function is given by the Funduino digital pins 4 and 7. The motor shield can be powered directly by the Funduino or from an external power source. It is highly recommended to use external power to power the motor shield.
Supports PWM and PLL (Phase Locked Loop) control modes. PWM mode uses E1 and E2 to generate the PWM signal. PLL mode uses M1 and M2 to generate the phase control signal.
