If you happen to need to use Arduino to send and receive RS232 information, then this RS232 expansion board can come in handy. DFRobot's RS232 expansion board has the following characteristics.
The RS232 expansion board is specially designed for the Arduino controller, which can easily convert the serial port to the RS232 interface.
The board has its own DB9 interface (female), which can be easily connected to various RS232 interface devices, and the board has its own RS232 pin header, which is convenient for your connection and debugging.
The expansion board has a welding area to facilitate your DIY design and make full use of the space on the expansion board.
The board has a run/program mode switch. When it is turned OFF, the Arduino main controller will be programmed. When it is turned ON, the expansion board can be used normally.
