This is a solar charger for high power point tracking (MPPT) of a single lithium battery. This MPPT solar charger enables you to obtain as much power as possible from solar panels or other photovoltaic devices and load it into a rechargeable lithium battery. It's very easy to use, just plug the solar panel into one side of the solar charger, and then plug the battery into the other side to start charging!
 
Solar High Power Point Tracking (MPPT) is designed to ensure that light intensity changes and photovoltaic cells output high power to fully utilize solar energy. Generally, it is necessary to use a switching mode DC-DC converter to achieve the MPPT function, keeping the product of output voltage and charging current maximized (output).
 
The output of the solar charger is designed to charge a single polymer lithium ion battery. The load should be connected in parallel with the battery. Each solar charger is equipped with a CN3791 power tracking battery charging circuit and is preloaded with four 2-pin JST/PH2.0 connectors.
 
By default, we set the hold voltage for the MPPT. The input voltages are respectively 6V 12V (corresponding to the working voltage of the solar panel 6V 12V), which is very suitable for applications with large input voltage and battery voltage voltage differences.
 
When the current output ability of the input power supply decreases, the internal circuitry of the CN3791 can automatically track the high power point of the solar panel. Users do not need to consider the bad situation, and can maximize the output power of the solar panel, making it very suitable for applications using solar panel power supply.
