Newly upgraded, 5A step-down constant voltage constant current module, capable of charging batteries, lithium batteries, etc., with rotating light control for easy observation of charging status. It can be used as a high-power LED driver module with PWM control input interface and switch control interface, making it convenient to use a microcontroller to control the driving current.
 
This module is newly upgraded, with smoother current regulation and shipped with heat dissipation fins!

The current detection of the module is low end detection. Please do not directly short circuit the input negative pole and output negative pole with wires!
 
Application scope:
 
1. DIY is a regulated power supply with constant current function, which is not afraid of short circuits during use and can protect the load.
 
2. Power your electronic devices.
 
3. Charge various batteries, set the charging voltage and current according to different voltages and capacities of batteries, and have a charging indicator function for easy observation of charging status.
 
4. Use solar panels to charge various batteries, with constant current function to prevent overcharging and effectively protect the battery.
 
5. Drive high-power LED, which can be freely combined in series and parallel, with PWM control input. The brightness of the LED can be controlled by a microcontroller (PWM control frequency range 100-300Hz).
 
6. As a car power supply, it can power your phone or various digital products.
 
Method for setting voltage, current, and turning light: (Please refer to the illustration above)
 
1. Set output voltage: Adjust the constant voltage potentiometer (CV) according to the float charging voltage value of the battery you want to charge, or the voltage value of the LED after series or parallel connection, and set the output voltage to the desired voltage. (without load connection)
 
2. Set the current indicator for turning the light: After setting the output voltage, turn the CC potentiometer counterclockwise for about 20 turns, use a multimeter to short circuit the 20A current range for output, adjust the CC potentiometer to the current you need to turn the light, and then adjust the LED for turning the light until the green light is just on.
 
3. Set a constant current value: After adjusting the lamp current, the 20A current range of the multimeter still has a short circuit output. Adjust the CC potentiometer to the current value you need to set.
 
 
Attention: When setting the constant current, the voltage should be higher than 0.8V, otherwise the constant current function will fail.
