The transformer primary has two windings: one main winding (thick copper wire) and one feedback winding (group thin copper wire). The secondary output is high voltage (transparent single core wire).

When the secondary high-voltage output of the transformer is not connected to the high-voltage rectifier diode and the capacitor, the output is high-frequency high-voltage electricity. When it breaks down in the air, it is a light purple arc, no hum, but the temperature is very high, and the paper plastic can be easily ignited, even Very fine wire (such as the case where fine wire is burned in oxygen during chemical tests in junior high school, but not as intense as in oxygen.)

If the output terminal is connected to several high-voltage capacitors and high-voltage rectifier tubes to form a voltage doubler circuit, DC high voltage can be generated, and a negative ion generator can be fabricated.

 

Note: This transformer is also suitable for 12V voltage, but the base feedback resistance should be increased to 150Ω~1.5KΩ. The resistance should be adjusted from large to small, not too small, otherwise the triode or transformer will not be burned. It should be too large, too large to affect the output effect or make the triode work in a non-switching state and the heat is severe.

Note: The transformer is designed to have a maximum output of 15KV, and the maximum output can not exceed 15KV, which is 1.5cm arc. The higher output voltage is likely to damage the transformer.
