0~5V to 0-20ma Voltage to Current Signal Conversion Sensor Module

Function description:

1. The upper and lower limits of the output current can be adjusted, making it convenient for customers to set them according to their own needs. For example, if you need 0-8v to 3-20ma, adjust the current lower limit potentiometer to 3ma when inputting 0v, and adjust the upper limit potentiometer to 20ma when inputting 8v. This can achieve 0-8v to 3-20ma, with simple and convenient operation and high accuracy

2. Can be used as a constant current source, with the voltage signal input terminal suspended, and the current lower limit potentiometer can be adjusted to output a current value of 0-13ma

Application Introduction:

In industrial control and many sensor application circuits, when simulating signal output, it is generally output in voltage. When transmitting analog signals over long distances through voltage, the resistance of the signal source or the DC resistance of the transmission line can cause voltage attenuation. The lower the input resistance of the signal receiving end, the greater the voltage attenuation. In order to avoid signal attenuation during transmission, the only way is to increase the input resistance of the signal receiving end. However, the increase in the input resistance of the signal receiving end reduces the anti-interference performance of the transmission line, making it susceptible to external interference and unstable signal transmission. Therefore, when transmitting analog signals over long distances, voltage output cannot be used, and voltage output can be converted into current output. In addition, many conventional industrial instruments require the output terminal to convert voltage output into current output when connected in a current manner. The V/I converter converts the voltage output signal into a current output signal, which is beneficial for long-distance signal transmission. The V/I converter can be composed of various devices such as transistors.
